Santa Michael is a singer, storytelling, Santa Claus who has worked with children for many years. He is a retired middle school technology instructor from Reed City Area Public Schools in Michigan with over 30 years experience in the field of technology education.
As Santa, he has brought smiles and laughter to children and adults of all ages in corporate, community, family and virtual settings. In 2020 he did over 1000+ virtual visits all around the world working for Hire Santa, Santas Club and independently. In 2021 he did over 1300+ virtual recordings for Cameo and two livestream events for Coca Cola plus independent recordings and virtual visits.

Santa Michael appears at the Great Wolf Lodge in Michigan where his storytelling is showcased for 100’s of guests at the resort during the Christmas season. He works with photographers in and out of the state of Michigan and has been Santa for music videos, and media aids.
Santa Michael is currently one of the hosts of Kringle Time. A weekly podcast focusing on the heart of a Christmas performer.
Santa Michael served as the board of M.A.P.S. (The Michigan Association of Professional Santas) and helps shape the future of the organization. His smile, twinkle in his eyes and full belly laughter brings the mystique of Santa Claus alive in every visit and events that he attends.

Santa Michael “Herbie” is a performance based Santa Claus who has performed in different aspects of entertainment. He is a Veteran of the United States Navy and currently works for the Department of Veterans Affairs with 24 years.
As Santa he has brought smiles and dreams to many through his residency at Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, Ohio; various parades around the Michigan area; and currently works with a variety of photographers; and through 2500 virtual visits between 2000 and 2023.
Santa Michael is currently one of the hosts of Kringle Time, a weekly podcast focusing on the heart of the Christmas performer. As well as instructing for Charles W. Howard Santa School, Santa Family Reunion in Gaitlinburg, Tennessee and International Santa Convention.
Currently Santa Michael is serving as President of the Michigan Association of Professional Santa’s (M.A.P.S.)
